they are customers tricked by bose markting. what do you think of when you see/hear the brand BOSE? that shitty cd/radio system you see on tv almost EVERYDAY.

their electronic componets and speakers are all mass produced, and do not justify the 400 price. sure, they spent 699 on "research" , more like marketing research.

99% of audiophiles will tell you to get something other than bose:thumbsup:

yea, i want to get the Shure headphones too, but not to sure now because i looked at them online and the cable is supposed to wrap behind your ears, and i have never tried anything like that before.

I'm getting too old for this shit. I remember lining up for over ten hours in the frickin cold when the Nintendo Wii first came out. That was freakin horrible. The other horrible experience with line ups was the time I lined up to get my daughter into French Immersion. The last boxing day sale was pretty good........ second hand smoke (weed) all night long and kicking teenager ass in Mario Kart DS. <---- that didn't come ot right.

I have gotten better deals on some of these things during normal sales. I think boxing day "steals" are a thing of the past.

The wrap-behind-ears design helps with microphonics (noise from headphone cable moving around) and it really helps tuck them out of the way.

The main issue with it is if you wear glasses.

Shure cables tend to fray though, so be careful.

I have a set myself and it's definitely good bang for your buck at that price. Even for $150 (the price I paid for), I think it's still very good. Equip that with the Fiio E5 amp at Dealextreme for $17 and it's heaven @ pre-$200 category.

Personally, for the money you are paying for, you're better off going with Bowers & Zeppelin's Mini iPod speaker dock. If you want something at $200 ish, the JBL is actually not too bad. You can try them out at the Apple Store.

No. But don't let anyone tell you what to like. Compare side by side before you buy Bose. Pick the one you like best. You could be saving yourself some money.

I think they bank on most ppl who buy speakers to pick the first one that sounds good.
