Holy shit that's way to harsh I gotta say... 8 years for a 18yo. $7k of damages isn't that bad... If this was Vancouver that would be like 2 weeks of jail time.
Here if you kill someone you'll be out in 8 years.

IMO the sentence is harsh. I'm all for examples and paying your debt to society but these guys are only going to come out way worse. I think they should've been sentenced to 2 years, no parole and pay for damages.

He's going to be in there with murderers, rapists, etc etc just for spray painting shit? That's fucked. He's probably what, 18? By the time he's released he'll be 42 years old. Fuck that.
