Best Hands Free Bluetooth Headset? Well with the new law coming into effect in a matter of days does anybody have any suggestions on a good Bluetooth headset? Pros vs cons, price etc? Thanks in advance! |
If you don't need noise cancellation, get anything that'll hook onto your ear, really. You should really be asking this in the mobile phone forum though. |

What kind of car do you own? There's hands free units that can plug into your factory or aftermarket deck. |

seen the Jawbone2 at Costco for $78 ,the Rogers kiosk there is selling the Jawbone Prime for $139 can anybody explain why the need for the Prime?Costco also has a $21 and $59 Bluetooth earpieces ,not sure of make and models. |
I've been using a Plantronics Discovery 650 for years, love it to death. Got it for its "multipoint" capability (can pair to two phones at once) but it works great just as far as a headset goes. I'm looking for a replacement now, though, since the puppy chewed this one :( My coworker has been rocking the original Jawbone for a couple years, the noise cancellation is amazing. He was working inside the mechanical room of a car wash, while the compressor was running, and I didn't hear a thing over the connection except his voice. If you like driving around with the windows down, or roll a ragtop, Jawbone might be the way to go. |
I've been looking at bluetooth headsets for awhile now. The Plantronics Discovery 975 seems to be very nice. As well as the Voyager Pro. Currently Bestbuy has a sale going on for the voyager pro. I was thinking about getting it, but i didn't like the ear hook design. LG has a handsfree speakerphone that is solar powered. Futureshop used to carry it for a short time, but now its not even listed on their website. I wonder why they got rid of it. Like they discontinued it just this month. |

Don't have to put on Bluetooth headset every time I get in the car, and I can use the steering wheel buttons to answer. Otherwise, my original Jawbone is still going strong and I do love that earphone! |

I have the jawbone works great but heavy. Depending on the person, some really like the iTech clips. they clip on to your shirt or whatever instead of hooking it on your ear. It's more comfortable and easier on the ear. |
Blueant isn't bad either. If I'm considering the new Fiesta or Focus next year then I won't need one as they have their "SYNC" system which proves to be a pretty awesome interface. Posted via RS Mobile |
Picked up the Jawbone Prime at A-Power. Got a special deal cuz we spend lots of money there with work ;) I dunno which one aznboi128 is using, but this one's super-light, even lighter than my Plantronics was. |
