yeah, i'd be interested in the racial profile of the study and where the study was conducted.
and i think spanking is appropriate when the child can't logically understand why what he/she did is wrong, etc... but once they can understand that and the consequences that they brought onto themselves, spanking should fall by the wayside as punishment.
