WOW, just like anything, location where the product is and of course feedback. with 23k feed back and 99.995 positive I wouldnt worry about that seller. But remember always look at the shipping rates cause the item may seem like a good deal but this shipping could be some retarded amount.

Also, it looks like you can save yourself $30 if you cross the border to a place like Hagens of Blaine to pick them up.

that's not taking the gas prices into account.

I bought those exact same headphones from the same seller last month. He charged me $19US to ship USPS to my house and there were no taxes or broker fees. I get stuff shipped to Sumas (Package Express) usually when there's free shipping but in this case, I didn't mind paying a bit extra to just get it shipped here.

Also, it turns out the actually shipping cost for the seller was $24US so he actually lost money on shipping which is quite rare.

Oh, and the headphones were properly packaged in Audio-Technica boxes with warranty cards and I have no reason to think they are fake. They sound great and were worth every penny!

Ship it to Point Roberts. Much much closer, and there's a place called TBS Shipping that lets you use their address to ship things to there.

so despite all the care i put into trying to make a good purchase i made a blunder

the headphones can either come with straight cord, or coiled cord. i wanted the coiled version, except i purchased the headphones with the straight cord....

i can live with the straight cord but still i would like to do something if i can.

i've already contacted the seller, but is there anything i can do now? the items are the same price.

Unless the seller is a drop shipper who has already placed the order you should be able to have him switch the type of headphone/cable.

I see this US seller uses USPS, i prefer US sellers using USPS, fed ex or UPS charge additional fees for brokerage fees which is expensive and BS.

I also check out their recent feedback in addition to their feedback rating and % of positive feedback, in case the dude is on some sort of vacation and is unresponsive, or recently got his account hacked and was screwing ppl over etc etc.

I also prefer to pay via paypal. sign up my credit card with paypal so i dont have to give out my credit card # to any seller and my purchase is protected b/c my card would have online purchase protection. if you're going to purchase something using paypal, make sure your paypal account is set up beforehand so you wont have to delay payment while your paypal account is getting set up.

Hahaha, I did the exact same thing but I wanted the straight and got the coiled. I didn't feel like going through the hassles of going back and forth asking for a switch. If we had bought around the same time, I would have traded you but unfortunately, I'm now glad I got the coiled by accident.

The seller's a good guy, you should have no problems getting him to switch it. Just make sure you let him know asap.

you must be <16 years old. ebay , weed whats next,,, about condom?

anyways, you might be able to change the order if he has not packaged/shipped yet.

if not, u can always return and exchange for a bigger lost on your part

if you're going to ship to pt. roberts which is closer..
ship to "The letter Carrier".

It's closer than the other pt. roberts one.. and it's cheaper..

the only downside to shipping to pt roberts.. is that chances are ... you'll have to pay tax. they know that people ship to pt. roberts so they always rape you with tax.
if you ship to blaine. they probably won't charge you tax coming back.
