there hasnt been proof he was punched in the face... he easily could have gotten bruised upa nd banged up from when they threw him to the ground and had their knees on his back preventing him to get up. |
^^ That's stretching it. There's a lot of ifs and what ifs in this case. Both sides could have done things better and we wouldn't be talking about this situation. But he without a doubt got punched in the face. :chop: |
VANCOUVER - A Vancouver man who was mistakenly beaten by two police officers in his doorway says he won't be appealing a decision clearing the officers of wrong-doing. Yao Wei Wu suffered facial fractures and bruising after the officers went to the wrong address while responding to a domestic dispute call in January. David Eby, with the BC Civil Liberties Association, says he's not surprised to hear Wu has lost trust in the system. Eby says Wu shouldn't have even bothered to file the complaint and he is pushing for a civilian body to investigate. Delta Police concluded Wu's allegations of abuse of authority were unsubstantiated in a report earlier this month. Wu, a Chinese immigrant who speaks little English, is still seeking compensation for the matter in civil court. (CKWX,The Canadian Press) |
