The only reason why I even get an iphone coz is easy to use as a phone. I can view websites, play games, listen to music and even read E-books while I am traveling.
However, when it comes to laptops, desktop or even netbooks Ipad will not replace them. There are too many missing functions from the IPad to make it even worthwhile. Also the chepaer version doesn't have any WiFi or anything like that so if you want WiFi I believe you have to get the $800 one. With $800 people can you a very decent netbooks or even a laptops.

Because the same friends of mine doing this, who ask for my advice prior to purchase yet still buy this crap, then ask me for help when it breaks. I tell them that Apple killed it/made a piece of junk, yet they go buy another.
On the flip side, why do you care how I feel about Apple and their blatantly false advertising, etc? It's funny to see how my opinions/views, that will never impact of affect your life, cause you to get so upset.

I don't hate. I am irritated by a company that has found success which is based on blatant lies and false advertising used to sell overpriced, poorly built products to ignorant consumers.

I'm pretty sure crapple is the only company that calls their router anything but a router, and makes it seem as if that is the only way to use a mac wirelessly. (thats just one example)
