Once you start using engineer, you will learn to love it.

As for recon, its either you love it or hate it. Just don't be one of those campers who stay at the very back of the map wasting ammo trying to hit a pixel sized dot.

Blah. Stat servers are down. Nothing but the base guns are usable. This means no ammo packs, mortar, med kits, paddles, etc. Lame. Played a round but that's it for today.

Its kinda funny playing, everyone is on an even playing field now.

And I'm still on the top of the scoreboard. :fullofwin:



EDIT: Stats are back now.

Played in a server last night that had the MG36 red dot enabled in hardcore mode. Ever since that MG36 nerf, I've been using the XM8 LMG and NS2000. The nerf happened so long ago, I've managed a plat star on the XM8.... Anyways, MG36 with the red dot is beast. Recoil is so easy to control. It's right up there with the AN-94 and M416 as best close/mid-range automatic IMO.

I love recon.

Although I do snipe a bit, I find the close combat with a shotty or M1A1 very effective in conjunction with the motion sensors.

If you play hardcore then the motion sensors aren't quite as useless.



I've never gotten into using the Engineer. I can't aim those rockets for the life of me.
