Most of those people weren't the anarchists. They were actually rather friendly to me.

However, as I suspected, they're there for the attention. One guy in particular (who I saw in the No2010 video on their website) was full of shit. His speech was such garbage that even the crowd at the art gallery wasn't with him. A number of them had no idea what they were really protesting. A few didn't seem to care. A few that I suspect were there on Saturday, weren't caught and were trying to get the rest of the crowd going to cause trouble.

They were peaceful, though and just marched through the streets.

The rioters are all to do with destruction, violence and anarchy and NOTHING to do with improving anything. They care nothing for protests and use the protesters as shields to hide behind as they destroy, maim and try to kill. They are the same bunch who destroyed Seattle, Quebec City and just about everywhere else they move to. They will be in Toronto this summer for the G8 and just look for the opportunity to destroy and get their egos pumped by the idiot media who use them for their own purposes. When you have been on the incoming end of their violence and know some of the people and organizations that fund and support them, you cut thru their BS and just get frustrated about how they deceive and manipulate others. You hide behind someone who believes in their legitimate protests...and throw bottles full of lit napalm at people, then you are committing attempted murder. When you have been set on fire by them, as I have, you tend to take a less supportive view of their "right to protest".

Those losers also have hired people in the mob who are "unaware" of the chaos of the protesters just so they can cry "police brutality" when they are subdued by riot police. Fucking pathetic when you resort to false pretenses to try and make yourself look like the victim.

VANCOUVER — A few protesters took their anti-Olympic message to the next level by vandalizing Hotel Georgia’s massive Canadian flag.

The $150,000 flag — which at 32-by-64 meters covers the 12-storey historic hotel — had the phrase “F U 2010” cut into it overnight on Friday.

Vancouver police have not received a criminal complaint but said charges of mischief over $5,000 and possibly break-and-enter could apply.

The hotel’s management company could not be reached for comment.
