It doesn't make sense to me that the advocaters re-routing money to the DTES instead of the Olympics are the very people who don't pay taxes (The head of the APC who refuses to work full-time, and the UBC student rally in the pictures above). For a person who gets taxed roughly 30% of my annual income, it's a bit offensive to think the above mentioned guys who contribute nothing thinks they should have a say on how everyone else's money should be spent. |

These fucking protesters are just really pissing me off right now, I just listening to one of them on CTV trying to blame the cops for "un-necessary" arrests, and that their protest wasn't violent because they where only damaging property. Really, wtf is wrong with these idiots, you start smashing windows, throwing paint bombs, kicking random cars and jumping random people and thats not violent??? I think its time for the ISU and VPD to crack down hard on these idiots. |

i think that VANOC should have contacted RS to have them lead the torch through downtown, i have no qualms putting my 1Ton Dually Out Front And Flooring it, lets see those protesters stay there with 5500+ Pound of Chevy (they are a sponsor of the Olympics so the car would be allowed) running towards them with no intention of stopping, and im sure 2 or 3 RS Members would be right there beside me. (sorry for the rant guys, just a little angry about it all) |
