trust broken How do I make it up to a complicated female friend for lying to her about something. She feels that "lie once, lie again" approach (essentially broke a promise. However, I only lied once and it was to spare her feelings. Regardless I lied and she's really hurt and I don't know how to make it up to her because she doesn't really want to speak to me. I'm not a bad person, and I do know the only way to get trust back (if its possible) is to show the other person that I can be trusted. Suggestions? I did the "I'm sorry." But its not enough because she says I say it all the time. Need some serious help thanks. Posted via RS Mobile |

How old are you? |
What did you lie about? |
I wouldn't worry about it, since you're already in the friendzone. |
i believe i got friendzoned cause i hurt her. must be ways to unfriendzone.. |

negative. you're owned. friend only. You don't have trust to begin with, how are you going to go to the "next step". |
Curious, what was it that you lied about? My psycho ex always said "if I can't trust you on the little things, how can I trust you on the big ones?!". I thought she was psycho and most of my friends agreed. It's entirely possible she saved you from a long and tortuous relationship by 'not trusting' you. Posted via RS Mobile |
we'll just keep it a "something little", but to her it was very big. probably did save me from torture.. however i do feel bad.. and i want to do something. |
light a joint and you'll realize your silliness |
Asked as before, how old are you? Best thing you can do: act like before. If you act all apologetic and all that, she's gonna assume it's as big to YOU as it is to her. Act like it's not a big deal BECAUSE IT'S NOT. The more you freak out about it, the more she'll feel she was right about whatever she got pissed off about. |
let her simmer down a bit - talk to her after the olympics. now go try to score on some russians. |

she'll find something else to be pissy about in no time |
you stand behind her, and tell her to drop onto your arms. trust is then accomplished. |

you are hopeless.....once the trust is gone itz gone for good now move on and go out and party to score some RUSSIANS |
Hey, once a glass has been broken, it will never be the same. Good luck. |
^ Just means you should shop for a more resistant, study glass next time instead of a feeble whiny one. Get over it. Sometimes a bit of dishonesty is necessary in this world so she shouldn't get so hung up over it. I dunno what you lied about but if its something small in general, then she's just a petty person. But if it's something you knew would be important and you didn't foresee the consequences, then you need to take better care of the "glass". |
where them russian chicks at???? anyways bro you screwed yourself over, everything guys think is small is VERY big to girls. its a sad fact. now on to the next one. |
Did she ask you if she's fat and you said no? |
something tells me that the OPs definition of 'something small' might not be the same as everyone else's definition. |
whats an im sorry gift or such.... doent really matter what i lied about. thanks people shes says "i cant buy her forgiveness" .. what else can you do? lol |
|
just put it back on her and make her apologize to you. ask her why she has to be such a b*tch about it...etc |
What the FUCK did you lie about you FUCKING coward? Either spill the shit, or don't fucking post in the relationship forum. You might as well have fucked her mom, sister, best friend and brother and we wouldn't have a clue. Heres a tip, You sack of ass juice, some thing's are forgivable, other's are not. And if you're going to ask us for help, you better fucking explain what your fuck up is or SHUT THE FUCK UP. |
