Save $2 for every 25L on Husky Gas

Mods please delete if repots. (already searched but didnt find any thread)

Save $2 for every 25 liters of gas. HUSKY and MOHAWK GAS!

Ex. Fill your gas tank twice if you have a 50 liters tank.

Nice! It's double the savings compared to last year!

CP.AR 03-01-2010 02:18 PM

skyxx 03-01-2010 02:30 PM

Been doing this for a while. ;)

Presto 03-01-2010 02:33 PM

Do you need to use a MC to get the discount, or will cash or some other form of credit card do?

skyxx 03-01-2010 02:35 PM

^ It can be anything, the cashiers don't give a crap.

hmmm.. a little off-topic. I notice they change the 89 to 87 for regular at Husky and Mohawk. Do you guys think it was false advertisement before?

no, they recently changed it to 87. There were notices around before... i guess they took them down...

Vspeed 03-01-2010 08:06 PM

^ I actually asked the girl at the 52nd Husky while back and she said they had to change the signage to 87 octane but it still is 89 at the pumps. Reasoning was that Chevron bigwigs were getting PO'd, not sure how true that is though.

AzNightmare 03-01-2010 08:13 PM

I thought nobody fills up at Husky cause their gas isn't considered as good.. ?

FN-2199 03-01-2010 08:22 PM

WIN. Every dollar counts.

On the topic of the gas itself, I've always had mechanics recommend Husky/Mohawk gas to me all the time. IMO, gas is gas.

Yes, so for example if you have 100Liter tank. fill it up four times and you save $8. edit the coupon so its smaller and print it out 4 times.

Just to let you guys know again its accepted in both HUSKY and MOHAWK.

really? i ran their regular (90 octane) through my car (tl) and the engine started knocking etc. like it would with 87 octane. i always run premium (92 octane) at chevron and never experience any problems..

skyxx 03-01-2010 11:13 PM

^ Then why don't you run 92 or 94 octane from Mohawk? You made it clear to yourself that you ran 90 and not 91 and above. :lol The manufacture recommends you running 91 and above.

I'd like to know the answer to this as well. I only use regular and have bought from chevron for the past 10+ years. Any major differences?

95% petro canada most of the time, just because the points thing. And if not, chevron only.

Before mohawk and husky had ethanol issue, but now basically 99% of the gas station are using that shit. So in a way it doesnt really matter anymore, just personal preference i'd say. One of the problem tho with husky/mohawk is that their station always looks like shit and ghetto. While on the other hand petro/chevron are usually newer and cleaner looking.

all gas stations use ethanol these days. including chevron.

SDU 03-02-2010 10:48 AM

Are you guys using the same coupon every time you fill up? Should I just print a stack lol

Presto 03-02-2010 10:52 AM

^^
The gas station would need the coupon to send back to head office for reimbursement. You should print a stack.
