Is his place closed now? |
hes only open certain hours a couple days a week now. |
Man, I really wanna check this place out, but it's so out-of-the-way for me. |

The closest screamer location to Sandwich Nazi's place is BJ Grocery in Fort Langley, it's about a ten minute drive straight down 96th. The area surrounding Fort Langley (Glen Valley) is also a great place to cruise. BJ Grocery - Fort Langley BC |
Sign in front said closed until September. |
MB/Lo, do they have orange? I'd rather drive to Langley than Richmond. |
Yeah, not surprised about that. He posts his hours on his FB page once in a while and even though they're pretty limited, he also makes sure to say that they're only guidelines and that he may not even open on a day if he doesn't feel like coming in. His injury has taken a lot out of him lately, I've noticed. He's still the same dirty old perv (MG1, is that you?), but he has certainly lost a little bit of his pep. I need to go back and visit the next time I'm in town. I miss the back-and-forth jabs we'd used to give each other back when I used to work in Port Kells. :okay: |
Ice, I think so. The one by where I used to live has a million different flavours, but it's a little farther out of the way than BJ Grocery. |
Yeah but.....screamer.....from a place called BJ's....must be good. http://i1.ytimg.com/vi/HiDKHUZgJmQ/mqdefault.jpg Spoiler! |

dammmmit im working that day will i ever get to try this beautiful behemoth?? |
I had the priviledge of consuming one of these mammoth sandwiches. It wasn't "great tasting" but it was definitely worth it's weight in meat and an experience in itself. I was actually already getting full just from all the samples he was handing me while making me the sandwich lol ... |
Honestly.. As funny as the guy is.. His shop was dirty.. Bought 3 sandwiches and 2 of em had curly hair in it, i m sure it wasnt public hair but still gross. (most likely his arm hair as he was wearing a tee shirt) Yeah the sandwich was huge and lots of protein, but it didn't taste like anything.. Just a buncha ham in a sandwich bread. |
Dam i wana try this so bad i went to safeway the other day and bought those premade sandwichez to eat |
I work in Port Kells and ran into a guy at a site meeting who's office is there as well. He was telling me he ran into the the Nazi the other day and he's opening again on Weekends only which doesn't make a lot of sense if you know the area but it might be worth calling if you're a fan of the place. |
https://www.change.org/p/salam-kahil...1106_en-CA%3A5 Don't mean to bump such an old thread, but there's a petition for Sandwich Nazi to open up this weekend for one very last time. |
What's the backstory? Why does it seem like he's closing forever? |
Holy, I remember this place when it was across the street from the Telus building on Kingsway and Boundary. |

Frankly it was a novelty in high school going there and even after from time to time as I enjoyed the meaty sandwiches but the experience in engaging with him became less and less worth it. Probably haven’t been there in 10 years or more |
^ The sandwiches look amazing but yeah I would have a hard time dealing with that guy every time. Just way too loony for me. I feel the exact same way about Matty Matheson cooking shows on youtube. Amazing recipes and overall chef but he's fucking annoying. |
Oh damn I remember this place... kinda far for me but the sandwiches were cheap and huge. He just loaded my sandwich with whatever cuts he felt like it and charged me like $10. It was easily $25+ worth of meat from Safeway. Plus he kept handing me samples as he sliced so I was half-full by the time he actually gave me my sandwich and that sandwich could be taken apart to make 3-4 meals easily haha... But yes his schtick was kinda over the top. |
What??? Didn't even know he closed |
