It's funny because there are just as many redneck Canadians that think exactly like the Americans from the south. They are just as bigoted, just as patriotic and even believe we should be just as gun happy. |
So why are we viewed as friendly and they are viewed as dumb stupid rednecks, because they have like 200 million more of them, and were so small no one gives a rats ass? Posted via RS Mobile |

As a whole, I believe there's the same percentage of Canadians who are uber-polite and say "I'm sorry" all the damn time as there is Americans who believe it's their "Gawd-givin' rite!" to bear arms, salute the flag every morning, and hop into their pickup truck with the intention of "huntin' down some 'dem nigga's!" |
lol...this thread is gonna get RS flagged as being a suspected terrorist organization by CIA...:haha: |
^ so >50%? remember, Bush won. twice. |

Stereotypes are started for a reason, and it's usually because the majority holds some truth. Sure lots of people are viewed incorrectly because of a stereotype, but then there's two more people behind them reinforcing it. Posted via RS Mobile |

Yeah, I don't believe in that religion mumbo jumbo. Actions are louder than words and prayers. I somehow have major doubts that the Surrey population would stick around and fight. |
lol @ belkas false nationalism. what are you fighting for exactly? have you ever heard of globalization? canada is a subculture of the US... ppl like you just buy into the govt's concious effort to broadcast "canadian" material to give u sense of belonging and patriotism. canada is the size of california with a very diverse and ethnic division of its population. what does it exactly mean to be canadian nowadays? ps. my canadian roots trace deeper than the majority of you guys posting so fuck off if u flame me |
between satellite pictures, and body heat sensors, we stand no chance in modern warfare... I'll let them take over |

come on people remember 300? we as Canadians are like that Quote:
if a random war started though...i doubt that we would all get uniforms, have proper weapons, ect. therefore it would be hard to fight as i would hate to kill any fellow Canadians |
In Texas, if you don't have an American flag on your house they ask you why you hate your country. |

What we need is a Canadian version of Jack Bauer to save us. I'll fight for my country, but I'll probably be dead before I have a chance to fight back... fuck. |
id fight, we produce better soldiers, its been proven time and again that a determined smaller force can resist a far superior force for as long as they really need too Canada like the US doesnt have ANY troops anymore that arent veterens of multiple campaigns over seas but for all the smack talk we get, the Canadian Forces have an extremely decorated military history, something we can all be very proud of and keep this scenario in the back of your brain next time some queer from the NDP starts talking about cuts to the defense budget, there was a time when Canada had one of the top 10 standing armies in the world we arent even in the top 50 anymore |

edit: ah here it is |
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_Mogadishu_(1993) Somali's armed with AK's vs the US army. Just shows that knowing your environment and having a decent weapon is just as good as being in the US' position. |
