Would you bare arms and fight?

I will give you a scenario;

5 years into the future USA has managed to piss off the entire global community. Everyone has ceased importing because there currency is worthless. Now they are desperate for water, minerals and oil. They look north. They fake mutiple terrorist attacks and blame them on Canada. With the nation supporting them, they attack Canada.

Would you fight for Canada, or would you let them take over?



*** I know my scenario is vague and very very very unlikely, but this is just a what if. ****

Unless they sent an army of white JBs and invade Canada by fucking everyone, I think everyone will probably fight.

I'd slap on a red Canada hockey jersey and ditch the flag for an assult rifle.

I would go deep in the bush by a lake and just live off the land. It's not that im scared or won't stand up for Canada because in the right situtation I would, but that's a war both party's will lose in the long run like in Iraq.

Would fight and die for my country. No second thoughts.

i'd say the idea isn't farfetched at all
i remember my history teacher telling me that in our lifetime we'll see a war over water supplies. Canada being such a huge reserve i wouldn't be surprised.

i would call China.

i would definately stand and fight for my country.

however realistic impossible cause US have a bigger army and 99% of their citizen have guns. all they have to do it pick a day for everybody to pick up their guns and mob canada.

we would have to defend out country with our shovels and the ridicuolous small army in comparison to states. it will be like taking land from the natives all over again.

ill burn tons of weed at the front line, so both sides would be too stoned to fight and just call it peace! =D i think that came from dave chappelle LOl

I wouldn't hesitate for a second.

I'd arm myself and setup a bunker in a rural farming centre. Most farmers have guns and know how to use them.

I don't care who rules the country as long as they respect individual my rights and freedoms.

I'd fly back to Asia and watch the action on TV.

I would be in for sure.

What position would you take?

I would want to be somewhere near the mountains. North Van area.

You would have to join the army or join the locals. Which could get guns through, police, stores, people who own lots of guns etc.I work with a few guys who own more than 5+ guns each (Gun owners usually own more than one gun).

If you wanted to fight the guns would be there. Basically what I am asking is would you die for Canada? Stop worrying about logistics. ALSO, who says you need guns? IED's? Find a enemy all alone with his assault rifle, knife him, pick up his gun.

You'd be surprised how much small arms/assault rifles are stock piled at bases across the country. There would be plenty to go around. As far as defending the land with armour and the skies with fighters, not so much. We'd be fighting a gorilla style war, the US doesn't fare too well in those type of conflicts anyways. ie. Afghanistan and Iraq. Try to take on the US with a modern force, and it would be lights out within a few hours.

You are also assuming that the EU would just sit back and let the US walk in. I'd bet that many of the middle eastern countries would offer support due to their hatred of the states.
