Curious question: Your Insurance Costs?

I learnt the other day that because you guys being on the island, with less traffic, you guys get creeper insurance rates. So...

For you Island dudes and dudettes, how much are your insurance rates? And what do they include?

Your car? Are you a roadstar?

Sorry if these seem like stupid questions...but am just wondering how big the price difference is.

I'm a roadstar. My MS3 is only like $1100 for the year, that's with full optionals and 3 mil liability.

2002 Envoy 4x4 with 3 mil liability, under insured policy, pleasure only, $500 deduct, roadstar is ~ $1000/yr.

From what I remember, it's about $100/yr cheaper on the island when I moved here from Chilliwack in 2002 and switched insurance.

Wow that's still a good $400-500 difference from being on the lower mainland.

You guys don't have aircare either right?
