It's an a bit older 9815.. when I eject, only a bit of the CD is showing..

Sounds Like the eject mech is on its way out. Tough to say how much it is or if Alpine can even source parts for it.

I am sure it can be done however, I would not recommend it as it would be illegal in Canada to disable this safety feature. If your car was ever inspected, it would fail.

The depth could be an issue dude. Why so shallow? Those cars have a lot of space in behind the factory deck there.
