| Underrated...05 Mazda6 GT?
Thoughts on 05 Mazda6 GT; I happened to like the 05 Mazda6 GT. I was wondering does anyone here know any major issues with the 6?

Don't get V6 on a FWD/latitudinal car. The coil packs can fail and the ones against the firewall are a bitch to replace.

I have one 
I bought mine from Midway Mazda (white rock) in 2008. It was a 2005 6 V6 5spd GT sport (5dr hatchback, not wagon). I drive from Kelowna to Vancouver every other weekend (sometimes every weekend), and I have experienced 0 problems with the car. The only things I did were oil changes (Motul synthetic oil), changed the diff/tranny oil, replaced the spark plugs, wheel bearings and brake pad replacements. This has been, by far, the most trouble free and comfortable car I've owned.
With Xice2 snow tires installed, I've driven up to Big White, and Whistler numerous times without any 'oh s*it* moments.
My mods include: Koni FSD + Racing beat springs and a Magnaflow SS exhaust
I'm still on the original clutch, but I'll have to replace that soon.

Oh, I forgot to mention that I've put 80,000kms on the car over the course of 1.5 yrs..

I found the Mazda 6 to be one of the most difficult cars to drive smoothly

I drove an automatic 2.3 one for my repair courtesy car and I must say I like it. Don't know about manual.

I have one, never have problems, with the free oil change for life from the dealer, i literally paid nothing on repair for the car, except for the mods  | |
