On stock OEM wheels i'm sure this should be fine right?
ie. aluminum bimmer wheels?

According to the can I bought yesterday it has no warning labels about spraying on your brakes... you would assume in the highly litigious USA that if there was *ANY* risk whatsoever of it being dangerous for your car they would have something on there.
The only warning of any kind is to spray it in a well ventilated area and it suggests applying in temperatures above 65F

be careful when you use this stuff.
its probably insanely hazardous to your health.
they'll probably find this stuff in the cells of monkeys in the middle of the amazon rainforest in a few years

I just bought a can at Canadian Tire. They sell it for $12.99 so pretty much after tax, you`re look to spend about $15

I wonder if this is ok to apply on headlights and brake lights?
I hate it when my headlights get so dirty when trailing behind cars on rainy days.

video blocked at work
was anyone able to find out if says anything about whether it works on all wheel finishes? ie. chrome, polished, or just painted?
what did the brake dust test involve (again i can't see the video at work)? my worst problem is brake dust that is baked onto the wheel from heat. if they just sprinkled it on a static wheel and then claim it repels.... meh.

I hope they have it at Superstore. Gotta start using my freaking points. I have like a couple hundred dollars worth in points.

egh i have no patience whatsover... i went to walmart and bought a can of this stuff. there is a small mail-in discount that is on a little tag hanging from the can, but not all the cans had them so buy accordingly.
the weather was dry yesterday, so i went and washed my dad's car with his painted aluminum wheels and did the treatment. it dried overnight and this morning he was out driving in the rain and i just came back from looking at it and.... surprise! although the car is soaking wet from the rain, the wheels are not only just clean, but they are bone dry as well (tires are wet though!)
as for my wheels... i have clear anodized face with a polished lip. i'm still working out the courage to try it (worried it might stain the lips and i hate polishing them) but it's raining now and i park outside so it's going to be a no-go for awhile for me (sigh). damn pagids keep turning my wheels into charcoal briquettes

i applied a generous amount on my wheels yesterday around 5pm.
it rained overnight, i drove home in the rain, and checked the wheels this morning.
they look ok, but under inspection you can still see dirty spots. its far from perfect.
still maybe too early to judge.
if they are relatively clean in 4-5 days then i think i'll continue using this product.

To the people who applied it to their car...
after 4 wheels, was the can pretty light? Because, I don't see the can lasting for more than a couple cars max?

Can anyone else confirm if this actually works?
Looks like a pretty interesting product to try out, and would be great if i didnt have to clean the wheels every 2 days

it's like hairspray, so it's more of a misting rather than a full blown paint spraycan.
i was pretty stingy when i did it. it didn't give it several coats like some of the video demos did. maybe it needs more to last the 4 week claim armorall says.
