i took a a340 once the turbulence was horrendous, it was the ride that made me afraid of flying... and i never had a problem with them before.. the stewards literally smacked their heads on the ceiling and some luggage fell out and hit some people... plane plummeted a few hundred feet... i never book a flight on those planes anymore and even still i dread flying

do yourself a favour and don't get on that plane...

The A340's have the worst case of turbulence I've even come across. I mean the whole flight was horrible, I couldn't get any sleep because during the entire flight the aircraft wouldn't stop shaking. I should also mention that aircraft maintenance has been very terrible lately. Airlines are frequently canceling key inspections due to rising costs. It's only a matter of time.....

i managed to watch street kingz and iron man on my flight.. 2 of which i never seen before. it was fucken awesome lol

A340 has a lot of space (still less than the newer 747 ERs though), so I would just relax, watch a movie, and close the shutter when taking off. Otherwise, it's a good chance to take a peek out and look at the blue sky and white clouds.

Oh yeah, make sure you get up and walk a bit too, don't want to blood to clump on in your legs now.

i dont know whats so scary, its just like a roller coaster, or a super fast car with NAWWWWWZZZZZZ and TURBO BOOOSTTTTT but 100x better!!!!

do you guys remember last year where that cargo plane tried to land in japan and crashed? well that flight was right before mines and man was i fukin shell shocked before getting onto the plane. i've never been so nerve-wrecked in my life lol. we got stuck in the airport for 24hrs then sent to a hotel and then back to the airport. we were lucky to make it back on to the plane because there was a huge delay with the air traffic and stuff. they even played the clip of the airplane crashing in the airport lol. what a way to scare all the passengers.

when i was on the plane, i tried to sleep it off but i ended up watching all the movies that they had. they were pretty good too :) ahha
