Might be cool to go next week. The "Big Shwag" is gonna be there judging the burnout contest.

http://missionraceway.com/

He's the guy who hosts the game show 'Pass Time' on the Speed channel. Also you may remember him from Monster Garage.

Hopefully the weather is good!

My buddy was there with his Audi last week. Barely anyone was there so he got in like 6 runs before they shut down at 8...

It was the first time running the car. First thing he did when he got home was order new motor mounts, transmission mount and diff mount. Not even running full boost he couldnt get the car into 3rd without letting off the gas. haha

I was there, pretty sure I saw Berz there runnin' the green monster.

Was a pretty good turn out concidering the game was on. Plus, on my way out there, there was some pretty dark clouds around Mission, but thankfully the weather stayed nice.

Ran it and had an embarrassingly slow 14.8 run with the Galant.

It totally felt weird the whole day until I was trying to go home and a piece of the intake plumbing decided to tell me wassup and came apart. The engine was basically leaking boost the whole time...

If it weren't for that I'm pretty sure I could have done at least a 0.5s faster with its hp rating at RG... but oh well it was not to be.

Oh for people who might be interested in going the entry price is $35.....very expensive indeed.

If my cars' parts aren't like unicorn (and that if I am not trying to sell it) I'd try what this guy did. I asked him what's the time he managed 13.2 launching like that and a 1.79 60ft LOL

I didn't get to see a lot of the races, because I was helping a friend in the pits. His daughter races jr dragster, and was doing a test & tune that day before the street leagls.

Looked like there were some decent cars that came out. I guess the game didn't scare that many people away. I just wish I had seen more of it (not the game, the races! )

i'm probably going to head down there friday the 14th... i wanna see if I can find some slicks so i can get into 12's... anyone know if a motorcycle helmet is OK to wear? i read in the rules that if your car is a convertible you have to have a helmet...

If it was $22 it was a lot more incentive.

$35 every friday for the hardcore fans it's a lot more in the course of the year. It's more than 50% up.

But of course that's if you don't break the car first doing this every week lol.

The car was not at its best there was stupid leak and all sorts of problems. Eventually I'll need my helmet :P
