MvC1 is probably my favorite crossover game ever. It's a shame they haven't released it on PSN yet. It's so hard to find a copy for PS one

So fucking pissed off man.

Lost to like three teams using Arthur. All they do is spam projectiles, and I don't know how to get past them because his volleys follow you, and he shoots three arrows consecutively.

I'm pretty bad at dodging projectiles so I hate it when I run into a projectile spammer team.

He pretty much killed off my whole team with just projectiles cause I couldn't get close enough but finally got in with sentinel and punished him so bad. Sentinel is really cheap lol. He didn't know what to do cause he couldn't spam anymore.

is there a difference in responsiveness between the tournament edition and standard edition or is it just the size??? realized i have a SFIV collectors edition fightstick sitting around the house lol

There's higher quality parts in the Tournament Editions. They have sanwa buttons and stick. Not sure what's inside the SE but I've heard that the quality isn't as good.

Um. Stupidest comment ever. Do you even read any marvel comics? They are both major characters in the marvel universe. If you wanna nitpick, why did the put shuma in? He's so minor in the marvel universe... The only references to any dr strange characters is new avengers.

major ? not even close. cause im sure you want to play as a floating head with tiny limbs instead of say daredevil, colossus, cyclops, venom/carnage, even loki would have greater potential. omega red?

you gotta also think that this game is supposed to appeal to the masses not just hardcore fan boys that sit in their moms basement?

Carnage/venom. = Spiderman clone.

Cyclops = Ryu Clone. In that matter akuma shouldn't be in the game.

Taskmaster = Nemesis of deadpool and captain america.

M.O.D.O.K = 40~ years of history in marvel comics.

I'm glad they intro'd characters that wernt in the previous games. If anything the only reason storm and sentinal were included was because all the fan boy's were going to complain. Just like they are complaining right now that mega man isn't in.

I'm glad you have an opinion but your original post was just a run on thought, and it didn't even make sense.

I'm not going to argue the daredevil thing though. I'm suprised a character that big doesn't get an appearance.

Ps. Modok is an awesome keep away character. No I don't bitch about discrepencies in marvel movies either. But I do have a subscription to marvel unlimited.

Yes I would bitch about the inaccuracy in the movies. If they're going to make a comic book movie they better make it right.

The amount of marvel characters and the variety of them are good enough imo. Just cause they're not the main stream ones doesn't mean they can't and shouldn't be in the game.

It's also the legal issues around some characters that they need to work around. ie: Activision owns the rights to spiderman as a video game character not Marvel.

Capcom and marvel know you want to play those characters. They'll eventually charge them as DLC.

i was reading how super skrull was their answer to including all of the F4. in addition they didnt want them included with the recent story arc about to happen.

i suppose for myself, someone who has followed marvel for some time but not to the extent of others. I would have preferred some characters with a bit more mass appeal. I agree with the unnecessary inclusion of clones, ie spider venom but then why include hulk and she hulk?? although u state cyclops as a ryu clone it is marvel vs capcom and each represent a key character in each. i personally would have preferred cyclops over storm. i also liked how ryu had the ability to transform in ken/akuma in the previous game. sure they dont have to be main stream, but how about someone like nightcrawler? who would have great playability potential (deadpool would probably be very similar i know) or juggarnaut?

i bought the game for fun factor , and thus far it has delivered.

storm and sentinal were included because of mvc2. Those were the staple's in high end teams.

and apparently this game is not completed and was rushed to completion. x-factor needs to be removed, and sentinal tweaked. other than that it's fun.

the chip damage from projectile supers in this game is way too cheap. If you have a level 5 bar and have x-factor and use a character like ironman and do the proton cannon 5 times in a row, the opponent is dead....

is this one good to jump into? i have tekken 6 and was going to buy ssfiv but i know all the pros play that one...yeah so should i get this or the upcoming MK?

yup the game is severely unbalance, i hope they can fix this through updates and not like SF4/SSF4 where the only way to fix the balance issues is release an updated title the following year....... not to mention the character DLC

Capcom has been known to screw over their fans by releasing overpriced DLC where despite the fact that the DLC are already on the disc and buying them is a "key" to unlock them

Jill Valentine and Shuma is already on the disc, the character move sets are apparently complete, its just their polygon models that is lacking

and they will be priced at $5 a character for people like me who didnt buy the SE...
