yup the game is severely unbalance, i hope they can fix this through updates and not like SF4/SSF4 where the only way to fix the balance issues is release an updated title the following year....... not to mention the character DLC
Capcom has been known to screw over their fans by releasing overpriced DLC where despite the fact that the DLC are already on the disc and buying them is a "key" to unlock them
Jill Valentine and Shuma is already on the disc, the character move sets are apparently complete, its just their polygon models that is lacking
and they will be priced at $5 a character for people like me who didnt buy the SE...
the chip damage from projectile supers in this game is way too cheap. If you have a level 5 bar and have x-factor and use a character like ironman and do the proton cannon 5 times in a row, the opponent is dead....
dude xfactor with sentinal against my level 5 phoenix with xfactor and healing shield, all he needs is one attack and i'm dead. Last night Iw as playing with friends and we both went WTF when I got hit by his random heavy attack and It took me from 75% to 0.

haha yeah but using phoenix is like committing suicide unless you're always the one on offense. Pretty much any big attack on phoenix is instant KO
So after playing this for a couple days... I'm still undecided about how much I like/dislike this game. I was super excited to pick it up... but in the end, I feel like I did about SSF4: I went back to playing SF3:3S. :S
My one main gripe is that when super jumping, you can't control your decent that well as in MvC2 all that well. Ie. dropping on top of the opponent, or switching sides just before landing.
I also hate the 3 button system. It makes it feel like it's way too easy for people who haven't played the other 3 to pick up. I really wish it had the traditional 4 att button layout.
Buuuuuuuuut I think I'll give it a few more days before I decide whether or not to box up my joystick. :P
PS. to those that asked, the TE stick is a lot heavier and has a much larger base than the SE stick. Thus you can put it on your lap comfortably without it moving around, or on a desk and be able to comfortably rest both hands on it.

although it only has 3 button, the variety of moves seems to be more than mvc 1 and 2. dante for example has like 15 moves.
i also like how they throw in wall bounce and ground bounce.. makes your combo looks so professional.
I, on the other hand have been getting my ass whipped. Oddly enough, my nemesis seems to be Haggar hahaha... is anyone else having issues with his cheap air combo?
do most ppl choose to play thru each of their characters until death rather than try to swap out for them to regain some health?? to avoid a second character getting rocked on entry?
just curious peoples strategies
MvC1 is probably my favorite crossover game ever. It's a shame they haven't released it on PSN yet. It's so hard to find a copy for PS one
woah woah woah woah woah....
they released that one PS1??!!! wtf...i never knew. i gotta hunt this down now. far as i know ps3 can run ps1 games. at least i was able to run a ps1 version of puzzle fighter on it no problem.
