Looks like its coming to the 360! I'm not a big fan of fighting games but I play them once in a while. I love playing MvC2 though and I'll probably get a stick for MvC3!
According to wikipedia (not sure if it's 100% reliable though), it's coming out for both the Xbox 360 and Playstation III.

producer said they are only looking to bring in about 30 characters, so that means it will probably stay with 2 on 2 and not 3 on 3 with 56 characters that MvC2 had..
i can understand with both how company works, its true what they say though, capcom and marvel (under disney) are both much bigger companies now compared to 10 years ago
there is alot of legal rights and image protection that both companies have to worry. im just really surprise they announce this now and not E3, we probably get to see gameplay by then

yup and the retarded thing about mvc2 for psn is that there's no 3 punch or kick button so when you're performin your supers you have to hit both punch or kicks. I prefer the ps2 version because you can assign a 3 punch or kick button which makes it so much better

At this year's Captivate event, Capcom finally announced Marvel vs. Capcom 3: Fate of Two Worlds, which will feature 3-on-3 tag team fighting with characters from both the Capcom and Marvel universes. And while the release is a ways off (spring 2011 for the Xbox 360 and PS3), we're jumping right into the debut trailer to see if we can find any extra details about the game.
