| Prothane bushing impression after a year or so?
hey guys I just want to hear what's your experience on this. After about a year from installing prothane suspension bushings all around on my Galant VR4 the car makes all sorts of gut wrenching noises when being steered dry (like if you steer without moving the car) as well as driving over big humps on the road.
Does your car sound like that after a while from installing Prothane kits? Any permanent solution to this phenomenon? Of course, when installing I have used all the grease that came with the kit but it seems like the stuff has since then worn off...
At one point I sprayed silicone lubricant all over my front suspension and the squeaking stopped......for about a week.
What is a more permanent solution to this? Thank.

Shoei gave me a great tip, Lithium Grease.
When I had my skunk 2 rear camber kit installed, it creaked like a motherfucker.
But I used it a few times, let the grease soak in the bushings and it never creaked again.

Yes your bushings have gone dry. You have two options 1 pull them apart and use a better grease I use a marine grade synthetic that lasts much longer then what the kits come with or 2 you can try a good quality penetrant grease I use a Wurth product that comes in an aerosol can it with capillary properties similar to that of wd40 but its synthetic and sets up as a high vis grease after a few minutes.

I put something like this on the bushings yesterday: 
but I need to give it a drive today see if it works after it dries, the can says it sprays on as a liquid but dries into a grease.
If I can't get that to work I'll swing by Rise and have you guys take a look at it.
