Yeah I understand I wouldn't be making 6 figures in no time, but I sure wouldn't mind having a little extra spending money in my pocket at the end of every month.
I thought it was ridiculous too, and researching it sure didn't help. All it came up with is "This is a horrible business venture... blah blah blah" But to support him I guess I'll take the time out, and if he's able to make it work personally, I wouldn't mind checking it out.

And don't expect anybody to help you out either. In this field, you have to earn everything for yourself. You'll only be getting paid if your sales rep ID ends up on the clients' agreement form.
Oh, and he gets a bonus for recruiting--and a bonus for your productivity if he recruited you directly.
