And BUMP!

Third class JUST started, CN has another posting out for another 25 people. Posting up as of July 12, 2010.

Please know that you will not have very good seniority in the short term, but if you choose to stick it out as a career, it won't matter in a few years time.

How do you like the jump from Conductor to Engineer? (besides the pay increase ) Since it requires you to be away from home a bit more?

Anything else you'd be willing to share would be cool. You're the first Engineer I've been able to talk to.

I've been debating back and forth about applying to be a Conductor (with the intent to become an Engineer at some point) but the weird hours, and not really knowing when you'll be working next is a bit of a worry (espically with a stupid mortgage )

If I applied once, do I have to reapply. They do have my file already.

Check the website. It should tell you if you're last application was closed and if you are required to apply again.

Personally, I went in a suit, no tie. At least go in slacks and a collared shirt. PM me if you have any specific questions please.

I'm getting an over the phone interview because I can't make it in person tomorrow. Sounds like a very interesting job. Looking forward to it if I make it. Good luck to everyone!
