Mutliplayer is where the replay value is that....single player is always a once off unless going back for unlocks imo.

Best multiplayer FPS game of all-time in my opinion. Loads of fun!

Am I the only one who HATES the current Reach melee system though? It seems really imbalanced and very different from the other Halo games in terms of matchmaking.

I was hesitant at first to get the game but I got it a couple days ago. Wasn't really sure if I was going to like but I said f it and bought it anyways.

From what I've played, I like it a lot better than halo 3 hands down. Everything just feels so much better than Halo3. I didn't play it religiously but I played it enough, but reach is by far better for me.

Loving the Swat mode from team slayer, I rock with the DMR. Been working on the Legendary campaign though with my friend, almost finished just 3 more missions.

Halo Reach has honestly gotten me back into gaming on my 360 lol, I haven't played seriously in a while on my consoel, first time in like 2 years I've been spending like 3-4hours a night just playing. Bye bye GPA.

Haven't touched the game since I bought it on launch day. Just doesn't do it for me for some reason, cannot really explain why.

I think it's fine. The fact that Halo 3 was so centered around melees was what made me hate the game so much. It was all ARs and beats every which way you look.
I think they brought back the Halo 2 feeling of getting a melee kill. It's a little more often that it happens compared to Halo 2, but it's just as satisfying.

Also, bullet>fist. Makes sense to me!

I did it solo on Legendary, and it was a BITCH!

^ Ah you do have a point. The AR was being abused all too much in Halo 3 so I guess I should be thankful that died down a bit. Gotta love the DMR and Magnum in Reach eh?


As for completing the game on solo Legendary, I finished it too. Took me around 16 hours all-in-all. Quite frankly, it was probably the hardest game I've ever played.


Lastly, for finishing a level on legendary without dying, I got that by completing mission 1 on legendary (The "Welcome to Reach" cutscene). Haha got Carter's helmet as an avatar reward just by doing so. You should have gotten it too actually :D

Played it for a few hours on the weekend and I'm diggin it, take abit of getting used to all the new abilities and shit but it's pretty good.

shits kinda gay beat it on legendary one saterday i dont like that u can kill each other at same time like when u bash some1 and they do same and you both die

iono never really was a halo person i like cod better

After playing COD, i totally got raped on multiplayer as this game as little to no recoil to their weapons lol.

But I realized you don't really need to use your scope in this game. Unless sniping. Love the new assasination kills, and the new classes for slayer games is sick.

Heads up guys, make sure you finish through the credits (regardless of what difficulty you completed it in) as there is.... bonus content afterward. If you've skipped the credits right after mission 10, go back to your mission list and check back what you've missed.

Most of you already know this, but I'm sure at least one of you did not ;)
