Hey just tried it again now with my other gamer profile. Didn't work either.

Strange, I got it the first day it got released the moment I started the campaign on Legendary. Unlocked Carter's helmet right after the cut-scene. Bungie probably patched that or something. My apologies for the false hope bro!

Damn! I'd kill to hit Lt. Colonel. I haven't even made Captain yet coz I've been so busy with school and Dead Rising 2. Eventually perhaps. I'll just continue sitting on my decent career K/D at the mean time :P
