-pharcyde
-de la soul (can't believe they didn't get a mention)
-gza (matter of fact, all wu-tang when there shit was hitting)
-buckshot
-alkaholikz
-del
-extraprolifics (if you never heard of him, and you liked hyro, check him out)
-outkast
-artifacts
-organized konfuzion
-organized rhyme
-eminem (let's be real, the man is skilled in his craft)
-redman
-the roots
-black sheep
-ice cube (lethal injection and death certificate were dope albums)
-dj quik (i love this guy from day 1)
-oh shit! forgot ice-T!
-cocoa brovas aka smiff n wessun
-mac dre
-mac mall (you can throw in all the artists off ybb records, though i'm not really into the hardcore shit, these guys were young and skilled for sure)
-ahmad
-oh shit! ghetto boyz!
-nas (illmatic and it was written /everything else)
-good god! the beastie boyz!
-blahzay blahzay
-public enemy
-guru, of course
-tribe

off the top of my head, that's it. i know there's more in there though

Im not the type a guy who will listen to a whole album. I usually only like 1 or 2 songs from an artist. Each song gives off a different vibe.

Best list so far.
The thumb drive in my truck right now has all these and Ice T all of the NWA and solos after their fall out, Snoop, Cypress Hill, Sermon even Sir Mixalot.
The new millennium shit just doent have the right flavour. There's a real lack in the story telling rap used to have instead its all about being a billionaire.
