newegg.com offer alot more rebates then .ca (which are even applicable to canadian residence)

I've calculated the difference to be approx $150-$200 saved with all taxes/duties/exchange rates/etc included in the final price.

NCIX can do shopbot.ca price comparison too and I found it cheaper.

Given that I only selected items from the SALE section strictly, then added price comparison to a few items.

I recommend you go with a DDR3 system (like the one above). DDR2 costs about the same, is slower, and is older technology. I think you will need to buy name brand RAM. OCZ is not as highly rated as G.Skill or Corsair. Stay away from OCZ Gold. The reviews are bad. http://www.newegg.ca/Product/Product...3LV4GK&Local=y.

No reason to get a 790GX motherboard, you're spending $50 extra for nothing compared to a 785G

Please elaborate? I asked earlier for advice on part recommendations with no response.

785G boards that offered DDR3 were similiarly priced to the 790GX anyways (there was another $20 MIR for this)

You can get a 785G board for under $80, and even as low as $65 if you go with DDR2 (and with this platform there is literally no difference between DDR2 and DDR3).

Also if it's a gaming PC, you'll want a CPU with full sized cache. Or if it's for something else, let us know and we'll see if we can pick something more appropriate.

If you are gaming, get the best video card you can possibly afford. You could even get cheaper ram and overclock less if it allows you to get a better video card.

i might wait a little while for things to get cheaper. Because AMD just released the x6 and video cards might drop in price (hopefully)

Skinnypupp: I obviously don't have the resources or knowledge like you do, can you recommend a specific 785G motherboard that is overclock able, supports DDR3 ram and crossfire?? So I can change my order and save some money.

Thanks
