I'll never complain about the weather being too hot. I'd rather it be hot outside than cold any day.

Leaving the windows open all day to allow your place to breathe will do wonders. You shouldn't need an A/C in Vancouver unless humidity rises above 80% and it gets over 30 C (which it rarely does historically.)
Maybe the real issue for people complaining about heat in your sleep is the fact that they run their electronics 24/7 in a small space.

The trick is to keep the windows closed all day and open all night. If you keep them open all day your inside temp will be the same as the temp outside. Posted via RS Mobile |

Posted via RS Mobile | This theory work for most of the rooms except it doesnt work if your computer is producing heat with window closed. It still helps when you open the window a little in the day time for air flow.
and remeber to close all blinds

TIP: Take a really hot shower when its hot, when you step out you'll feel cooler. Its the opposite if its hot and you wanna take a cold shower... your just going to heat up faster if you do.

oh stop the whining.
I just left HK and am now in Guangzhou.
The shit is fucking crazy. I would much rather endure 30 degrees in Van without AC than 25 degree here.
the humidity is fucking killing me.

But then again, it's vancouver. the weather is way too unpredictable.
Who remembers when it snowed in mid spring last year for only a day?

I will never complain about it being too hot in Vancouver.
Just got back from Raleigh and it was 34 degrees Celcius and humid as fuck.
