I can think of two things. The first would be an iPod loaded with modern day rock and metal. The second would be a car, something like a Ferrari F430 or a Porsche 997 GT3. Show off what the respective companies will be making half a century in the future.

I'd bring an army of poachers to hunt down that fucking monkey that gave AIDS to Africa. Then the whole world can thank me by having their bitches fuck me bareback all day long. Syphilis and Chlamydia can't kill you!

7seven: I really can't stand all these idiots who hit the gym now just because they watched 300 and want to be like a spartan. Case in point, this skinny guy comes into the gym the other day, must have only weighed ~ 140lbs, loads on 2 plates on the bench rack, mutters to himself, for sparta, unracks the barbell and proceeds to drop it directly on his chest.

I'd bring a laptop.
1. Save all the winning lottery numbers from all the lotteries around the world.
2. Save the changes in stock and commodity prices up to today.
Then I'd go back in time with a 998 Turbo and live my pimped out life.

The ipods of today would blow away peoples minds even from the 80's, not to mention the 50's.
Imagine telling people you could have access to every song they had ever heard in their life instantly within the palm of their hand!
I remember back in 97ish when i was a young lad and Diamond came out with one of the first portable Mp3 players that could only hold 6-7 songs, and we thought that thing was fantastic!
The ones now that can hold libraries of DVD quality movies are just insane!
