alt+D does nothing on chrome ??

^ it should work on Chrome, and all other browsers.

Pro tip:

If you want to speed up your computer, a quick way to do so is by deleting your system32 folder in your Windows folder. It only contains old DLL files and such that aren't used anymore after you uninstall programs but loading them slows down your boot-up time.

Sorry, I gotta say something here. Guys, I sure hope you don't actually do this. Well, doing so will wreck your OS and require a reinstall, which will make your PC faster in most cases. :)

Actually if you want to clean out junk in your system, I'd recommend www.ccleaner.com. Empties out junk like your browsing cache (works for IE + Firefox + Chrome and others I'm sure), temp folders, Recycling bin etc.. I run it every once in a while and it's a relatively tiny program. You can also remove Registry errors automatically too. :thumbsup:

there are some files you can delete under windows folder follow this instruction :) - you're responsible for your own action though . I did follow this guide on my 4GB EEE 701 and it works great

another one I often look up is what services to turn off. if you are smart and patient to change it gradually then you know what services you need and what services you don't need. speed up my XP boot to 27 seconds
