in all honesty the world cup in SA is probably the most imporant thing to happen to them since apartheid ended. It's sad that they couldn't sell the tickets they could.

Are there any bars that are open during 4:30 am? I might watch it after work tonight. Pref downtown.

The horns don't really annoy me, buy like someone else said it takes away from the chants and crowd atmosphere. I also don't see as many sexy soccer girls like in past world cups. Granted it's
only been two games. Afraid the "hot" girls will be on Venus and sereanna levels lol.

this is prematue ill admit, but if they dont find a way to deal with the horns, looking at the worst wc to date. When Uruguay was giving a red card, could not hear a single boo, stupid fucking horns drowned out everything....its some serious bs, i didnt wait 4 years for SA to ruin a wc.

That's because hardly anyone from outside of South Africa is actually headed down there for the games

So your mainly going to see South Africans there since ticket prices were reduced even further for them to dump tickets

same for the typical chanting we're used to... that's a "foreign" thing.. South Africans blow Vuvuzelas
