7 SOGs vs 1... scoreline should've been much larger had the keeper not been standing on his head. A bigger Argentinean victory would've helped Korea, considering Argentina is probably a sure bet to go through while Korea might need to beat Nigerians on GD.

Wish I could've stayed awake for the Korean game, but damn that is early. I wonder if Robson was loud this morning..

orange7 06-12-2010 08:21 AM

lol.. there was probably a Kimchi meet on robson right outsides those korean restaurants.

now I want to eat korean food tonight at robson.

LOL GREEN FTMFL

Brianrietta 06-12-2010 11:19 AM

1-1, wow. Green sure wishes he could have that goal back. Afterwards they showed the horrified look on Beckham's face, pretty much summed up the English reaction.

And regarding the vuvuzelas, if you seriously need to be able to hear the boos and cheers of the crowd to know whether something exciting just happened, football just isn't for you. I'm sure as hell not advocating using them in club play, but I don't think it detracts anything at all from the TV watching experience in a multinational contest like the World Cup.

England got owned. That was such a bad goal. But can you blame it on the ball? Many players say the ball flies all over the place.

VSBB6 06-12-2010 11:23 AM

Can't imagine how the english ppl would react if they loses this game, Green shouldn't have lose that one.

carisear 06-12-2010 11:25 AM

good first half!

No he just didn't save it properly, in my opinion anyway. Instead of blocking it with his hands like he did and thinking it would deflect away, he should have gone to scoop it up. I play goalkeeper too, and that's what I would have done, or tried to do. When the players talk about the ball flying all over the place, they mean when it's airborne. They've been saying it dips and takes wierd swerves when struck. I don't know how much I buy into that because weren't they saying that about the Teamgeist in '06? And now you don't hear about it.

Eff-1 06-12-2010 11:45 AM

lol... hate it or love it. nice ad.

they would probably be losing if beckham wasnt injured ;)

threezero 06-12-2010 12:13 PM

Beckham Is overrated he is way pass his prime. The only advantage he would give o England is if their opponents are all gay.
