Guy eats with just $1 a day for a whole month..

And documents it how he does it here:

Never underestimate the power of coupons!!

Watched tons of news in the US/Cad about how a "smart mom" went all over the place to collect coupons + used her iphone to get electronic ones etc etc. Bought $200+ worth of stuff (can feed someone for 10-20 days easily) for like $1 or 99cts etc.

You will never get these good coupons in Canada or the cashier won't let you use multiples.

One option would be to go across the border once a week to do grocery shopping. Gas would pretty much work out free since the cost of driving down there would be offset by the fact that you would pay like $10 less to fill up your tank. (depending where you live)

In addition to the money you save by filling up there too, it's worth the trip

Thats what I meant.. you will save at leas $10 filling up down there vs here... Even if it works out that it costs you $10 in gas to drive there and back you are coming out ahead on cost of everything else..

Grocery Outlet in Washington state is pretty cheap. I go to Seattle to visit my sister every 3-4 weeks and on the way back, I always stop by Grocery Outlet.

You can eat ramen noodles 3 times a day and it will work out less than a dollar a day. But do you want to eat that shit everyday ? fuck no.
