FAL is badass, video game or not. Is it still possible to buy used versions of the C1A1 (Canadian FAL) for sport shooting?

i'm surprised the G36 hasn't made the list, as it's probably one of the top modern assault rifles.
The M16 wasn't great when it was first launched, but the modern variations are pretty damn good. You can almost consider it the iPod of the AR's, as everybody has one, and there are a million accessories available for it, to make it exactly how you want it. That being said, I'd still take the G36.
But the story about soldiers taking AK's off dead vietnamese soldiers doesn't sound too far-fetched. I heard stories about that happening in Afghanistan still. Some soldiers find that their 5.56mm rounds don't have enough stopping power. It's not uncommon for someone to be hit with 3 or 4 rounds and still be standing, so squads sometimes carry an AK just to make sure whomever they hit stays down. Now tho, a lot of US squads now carry an M14 for that extra distance, and massive stopping power.

I'm sure there are a few of you here who have experience with some of these rifles in real life (myself excluded). But those of you discussing the pros/cons based on your experiences in video games, LOL!!
