How come I never get tailgated?

I drive alot of big trucks at work and I'm amazed at how fucking close people ride my ass. I really don't care if you smash into the back of me, but if you do you're gunna lose your fucking head. Chances are I'll never feel it...but half the time I can't see them in my mirrors....FUCKIN MORONS, Sorry I'm not gunna speed in a work vehicle

Also scary when I'm with a customer on a demo drive, and they are tailgating dangerously close to other cars.. it makes me a little nervous that's for sure.

50 km is the speed limit, if the road is open you might as well pass on the oncoming lane... :squint:

i just use dual-stage highbeams to piss'em off if they're blocking up the left lane.

but yeah, i usually slow down and fuck with them if i got time to waste :P

i live in Maple Ridge and it happens all the time......i aim at the exact speed limit and turn cruise control on :) if they hit me its there fault.

If someone is tailgating you, you must slow down to let them know.

I tailgate a lot myself and I don't even realize it most of the time because I want to go fast. You're suppose to slow down to signal that the person behind is tailgating.

For those who are slowing down infront of the tailgater it makes absolutely no sense. There is no good that could come out of it. They are obviously tailgating cause there trying to get somewhere quicker and when you slow down infront of them, you are just making the problem worse.

If I'm behind you and your in the left lane and you have the possibility to change lanes to the right, you better mother fucking move or I'm gonna go ape shit road rage. Especially when the road is empty AND THE CAR IN THE LEFT AND RIGHT LANE ARE DRIVING EQUALLY BESIDE EACHOTHER BLOCKING THE ROAD. I FUCKING ALWAYS TAILGATE THE FAG IN THE LEFT LANE REALLY CLOSE, BETTER MOVE PUSSY AND DON'T BLOCK THE ROAD. IF YOU FEEL LIKE DRIVING THE SPEED LIMIT OR BELOW THE LIMIT DRIVE IN THE RIGHT LANE. If it's extremely heaving traffic downtown there isn't much you can do and understand that, but if it's normal volume of cars and traffic is moving rather smooth YOU SHOULDN'T DRIVE IN THE LEFT LANE SUPER SLOW JUST BECAUSE YOU DRIVE A NEW HONDA OR ACCURA OR SOME SHITTY FUCKING BEATER, YOU FUCKING FAGGOT I WILL KILL YOU. ARE YOU DRIVING IN THE LEFT LANE

DRIVE IN THE RIGHT LANE IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM.

IF YOU MOVE YES I WILL GET PLACES FASTER.

.... well that's if you are in the left lane... if you're in the right lane as long as you're driving the speed limit and not below (without traffic) than that's another story.

On a daily basis I always have to red line my car giving full gas and driving up-traffic becuase fags deside to do that... fucking pisses me off so much.

The idea to slow down is so that you allow more time to react to sudden changes in front of you, so the tailgater doesn't rear end you.

If someone behind you is in a rush, move over and let them by. You don't know why they are in a rush. Maybe their dad is on their deathbed in the hospital. Maybe the butter chicken ain't sitting well. Maybe they just robbed a bank and are ready to shoot the next asshole who pisses them off. Either way, slowing down in front of someone in a rush only makes a bad situation WORSE. Those of you who insist on doing it, are idiots. I am NOT saying tailgating is okay. I manage to get where I'm going safely and faster than 99% of other traffic and I don't have to tailgate to accomplish that.

I slow down to tailgaters...however I am not usually in that situation unless im in my truck with a load or if I'm taking my family out. Trust me, you do not want to go faster to tailgaters because it makes no sense to go faster and put yourself in danger.

Now i do believe in exceptions such as 2 lanes or more and ur the slow guy in the left lane, i do not recommend going slower.

If I'm being tailgated in the right lane, I slow down. Then one of two things happens.
-They pass and continue on their way.
-They get pissed

Win-win.

If I get tailgated in the fast lane, I switch to the slow lane.

I'm always tailgated in my astra in vancouver I usually drive around 55km/h and drivers here are still always on my ass >:O
