they are just continuing to purge their roster | Yea, it was complicated by the fact that Kovalev had a NTC, so hard to really get any bidding war for him and add to that the Sens owner just wanted to shed salary, Ottawa has been losing money for the last 3 seasons, not everywhere in Canada is an automatic success for pro hockey.
