What's the big deal? It's pretty obvious during the video that the situation was out of control and the cop couldn't handle the women but it could have turned deadly because what if someone grabbed his gun during the scuffle? Hopefully the women are charged.

now that i think about i think the officer was just trying to use as little force as possible... because with all their training it should really be quite easy for him to bring the situation to a stop.. (even that punch wasnt a real punch.. it was like a "hey dont push it")
a jay walk is a jay walk, pay the fine and take it up in the ass. Resisting the cop, and you get a punch in the face. I do agree the punch was unnecessary but oh well
