i do agree with some of the traditions that the article brings up. these traditions can have a negative impact on the social skills of the asian male and i have seen such effects in real life.

many of you have responded to this article by suggesting that the shy asian guy should just go for a white or non asian girl, but I am thinking....if the dude does not even have the testicular fortitude to ask out an asian girl, what makes you think that he has the balls to ask out a white girl?

The article is simplistic, but it's not exactly a load of crap.

I have had Chinese women my age tell me straight up that they will never date a Chinese guy.

Take a look around - how many mixed couples do you see feature a white guy and Asian girl? Compare that with the number of Asian guy and white girl couples.

I've dated my fair share of white women too, but it ain't exactly shooting fish in a barrel.

Agreed, and this is why people need to stop focusing on race and focus on the individual.

Make yourself an great person and no matter what color you are, you will be attractive to any woman from any race.
