That Chinese guy was an idiot. He wasted more time acting like a 10 year old caught with his hand in the cookie jar than it would've just to shut up and let them conduct their search.
If he had nothing to hide then why not shut up and comply?
It was pretty funny how he went from speaking meager english to no english to meager english again, especially when he kept making the point that he was an Australian citizen
cbsa, asked me once, (comin in from japan) if i open ur luggage, will i find any drugs.
in my mind i was thinking "wouldn't it be just cheaper to buy it hear, rather than bring it in from japan"
that guy doesn't even speak English and barely understands anything.. the border security in Australia is just picking on him. the guy should just say "No English" or something instead of looking like an idiot.

I don't get how you can become a citizen of a Country and not speak the language. Generally speaking don't you have to live somewhere for 3+ years before becoming a citizen? How do you not learn at least a basic understanding in that time?

If you are Chinese in Richmond, you can do everything without speaking a phrase of English. Gas, Shopping, Groceries, Banks, Even ICBC Tests.
IMO I think Canada should clamp down on immigration, make immigrants pass a test similar to TOEFL or LPI to get citizenship.
