Took my brother's modded 2003 GSX-R, 160 rwhp, for a long ride today. Holy MF! My bike does ~200 kmph before it starts struggling to go faster. His bike did 180 kmph in 2nd gear with rpm to spare.

I think I understand how these bikes suddenly make you dumb, cause damn did I ever want to do dumb things riding it!

Haha...if you really want to see how fast it goes, I know some guys go out on HWY 7 between Hope and before the junction to Harrison. It is dead straight on that stretch for miles-miles. Just go on a day that is not too windy as you'll feel even your helmet vibrate (especially on sport bikes).

However correct me if I'm wrong, I believe there is a speed limiter for bikes not going past 300kph. The busa's have this limiter I read about for the European markets.

I'm in Ontario so there are lots of flat long straight roads!
