Superstore does not have its own brand. I believe it is Foremost. It's OK. You should try American milk. Ewww........

lol ya this was the one at marine drive and main.

btw, there's a third kart to the really right, you can just barely see his kart is also full of milk.

just from what i can observe from the pic, they have at least 50 jugs of milk. oh did i mention...they're part of the same family. i know this cuz they were all talking together and when i was about to leave the parking lot i saw them all roll out together with their milk heading to the same caravan.

oh and expiry date on those is sept 21st.. so good luck to them finishing 50+ jugs in 2 weeks.

raygunpk 09-06-2010 03:24 PM

^dude they'll finish 50 jugs in 5 days. it's not hard when they got 50 people in one house.

Perhaps they are part of a large co-op. In any case, who cares. I drink Diet Coke like they drink milk. Whatever floats your boat. It's not hurting anyone.

Have you ever tried eating Mentos after drinking a lot of diet coke?

OK, I'll try it. Sounds like a lot of fun. I saw a demo at the RS Summer Meet. Should I swallow the damn thing or chew it for a while?

Not sure. Try both ways. See which yields a better result.

I was always curious about doing this. I just never had the chance or remembered to buy both things at once.

I bought store brand american milk one time. It tasted like rat milk. I dumped it down the sink.

BaoXu 09-06-2010 10:49 PM

canadian milk really sucks. i remember when i first tried new zealand milk... sooooooooooo goooooooood!!

keifun 09-06-2010 11:06 PM

Milk in Asia is even worse...that shit is like milk powder + water.

RabidRat 09-06-2010 11:10 PM

lol i went during this no tax sale and ended up saving only 1 cent. apparently because i only bought "real food". :(

Tapioca 09-07-2010 08:03 AM

The Superstore No-Tax event is always a gong-show. It's been a while since I've lived in a house, so I guess when you have the space to hoard things like flats of toilet paper and rice, it's worth going to save a few bucks. But, unless you're buying big ticket items like TVs or video game systems (where you can save 20-30 bucks which is certainly worth your time and frustration waiting in the lineups), you can find better deals throughout the year at other stores on household items.

Funny thing is, most people don't know about No Frills. They assume it's some hole in the wall. The Coquitlam store is pretty nice (clean and orderly). Produce department is nothing like Superstore, which IMO sucks at all the branches. The Rupert and Grqndview store is by far the filthiest, most disorganized store I have ever stepped foot in. This is before the renovations.

Anyway, a No Frills is opening up in the Knight and Kingsway area..... or was it Fraser Street.

Oh, No Frills does the PC Points thing as well.

No Frills is awesome. The even more budget version of Superstore. Too bad the only one in Vancouver was on the west side. But I'm stoked about the new one opening up at Fraser and 29th... that one is within walking distance for me. :D

DsZ24 09-07-2010 03:46 PM

I went to the no frills in coquitlam yesterday and they said they don't take visa, seemed kind of odd. Maybe it's because the store's still newish and they haven't gotten that in yet.

Vansterdam 09-07-2010 04:02 PM

i remember reading somewhere the milk in the USA is full of hormones and other bad shit they put in/feed the cows with

Well, I know in the past, Superstore only took Mastercard too because they wanted people to get the PC Mastercard.

Just went to the Grandview location yesterday and I like the changes. To me it wasn't anything weird since I've gone to the RIchmond location many times. It basically the same except the Eletronics is in the corner. I also notice they have AAA steaks now instead of just AA. Nice!
