Groceries (or specifically, necessities) are not taxed. So I'm not sure why you would really wait.

However, If it is like any other no tax day, I don't think there are any restrictions.

Chocolate milk, snacks, pop, junk food, etc. Time to stock up, LOL.

Actually, I bought nothing in the way of junk food today. A bunch of rubbermaid stuff. That's about it.

I guess we can count on no tax events about once every two or three months.

Can't remember which one it was, but one of the no tax days fell on the week they had $25 gift card, plus sale on all TV's. Big savings.

Next one will most likely be in December, but ya never know!

BTW, if any of you were wAndering, Alberta and Yukon have a double your GST event instead of a no tax event. It's because Alberta and Yukon have no Provincial sales tax.

I was just saying you should specify it's today only. I someone questioning why it was today only and not the whole weekend as it usually is and wAndered if it was only the location I went to (grandview) that was a one day only no tax.
