question about car accident and MSP

so i moved back from AB 6 months ago, still have applied for MSP ( i know i should but always too lazy to download the form and fill it and mail)

my question is, if i gotten into a car accident, other party at fault, they would have to pay for my medical expsense, is this correct?

or will ICBC say since i dont have msp, im not covered and im on my own?

Your post is not exactly clear so..I'm assuming that you have a BC DL and BC reg/insurance on your vehicle as you have been living here for 6 months? If so, then ICBC handles the insurance claims. Medical coverage is up to you..if you don't have MSP coverage then you are responsible for any costs that are not covered by ICBC. If you stioll have your Alberta DL/Reg then you will have no insurance coverage at all, let alone medical, as you are required to change to BC when you are "ordnarily resident" in BC.
