The sound in this game is weak. Anyone ever hear an M16 being fired in person? The game sounds make it a disgrace. Lag issues, graphics are sub-par from even MW2. Hit marker sounds are annoying and spawn system is still borked.

Pluses over MW2 albeit Black Ops is still new, no n00b tubes, no crazy knifers, game takes more gun skill to put a guy down, takes even more skill to use the higher end kill streaks, overall feels more balanced. But I would wait a week or two when everyone unlocks all the annoying shit and maybe this thread will turn into another "I hate Black Ops because of ... <insert annoying behavior here>" thread.

i havent found the compulsive urge to play black ops that i had for mw2
the sounds are terrible, i dont know if they are supposed to be more realistic? but im playing a video game i want to feel like rambo with loud ass gun and grenades.
ya its like the scene is further back making the characters smaller

one thing i love tho is the new chopper gunner, that is straight gangster

I'm not really enjoying this game at all. Gonna play a bit more to see if it's that I don't like the guns you can start with or not. So far, I prefer MW2 over this game. Wish you could play hardcore right off the bat, none of this full-time radar horse shit.

level 25 right now... don't think the game was as fun when mw2 came out. the maps in this game are all close quarters with tons of blindspots. its like a huge maze. Nuketown is a joke.. people spawn everywhere. The graphics arent as good as mw2 but it isnt bad. the sound effects are good. The grenades sounds cool heh. It seems as tho it takes more bullets to kill a person now. The game is more balanced tho. Don't think a gun is super more overpowered than others... that being said, they all feel quite similar.

just going to play this game to occupy my time until gt5's release on nov 24th

Anyone else havin problems on the ps3? Its not during gameplay, but after a game that I'm havin issues with.
Almost all the time after a game I get disconnected from the server due to "transmission error". Its quite annoying as I'm playing on a good server with balanced people and I get disconnected.

in single player, with certain akimbo pistols, only one of the guns will make shooting sounds. the other one is completely silent. kinda removes the fun of spamming pistols really fast. ;(

for those who havent already found the mini game (dead ops arcade), at the main menu in single player. (where you're the guy sitting in the chair), hold the jump button i think (space for PC) for a few seconds, and your character will get up. walk to the side of the room, and theres a computer for you to use.

for PC users, type in "CD", and then "DOA" to get into the mini game ;D
not sure about xbox and PS3 users. but i know they have this mini game too.

ak74 is pretty sick, i also like the aug it rapes, i like how kill streaks do not rape the whole team, it is deff harder

the online lobby/host is a joke... takes forever to get into a lobby.. at least today...

Just got the pc version today so did they fix the issue ppl were having with it?

I'm using the Galil and Stoner63. Both of those guns rip at mid to close range. Napalm strike is way harder to use properly since it's a smaller coverage area, mortar is easy if you aim the three shots in a triangle-shaped area where you think enemies are.

Yup, have rage quit all 3 nights I've tried to play. I'm constantly taking 5-10 minutes to get into a lobby and then once I do 2 out of 4 times I'm kicked back to the lobby when the game loads. The times I do get in a game I'm kicked to the lobby as soon as it goes to switch maps and I start the process all over again.

Although probably not true it feels like I've spent more time in the last 3 days in the lobby then I have playing.

Galil is pissing me off since the shots don't register. Switched to the FAL, and basically EVERYTHING is hitting, even close up.

Other then the weapon balance a bit .. and taking out commando pro.. does anyone else feel this game is a bit of a let down..?

er.. I feel like i was expecting a lot more lol.. Also the spawns are so retarded.. i keep getting spawned into enemy...

thats bc maps are so fucking big and complex that wherever you spawn, someone will be there.. just like when you kill someone.. once you do youre dead! it is almost as if you need to have a suppressor ghost and ninj aon to succeed.. it is def a different strategy to succeed in this game compared to mw2.. more skill and thinking..

as for the kill streaks not counting toward air strikes.. that one is a big one for kills..

I love getting the Attack Dogs killstreak. When I first got it I wasnt sure what to do so I ran with the dogs...Seeing them kill people if funny as hell!!!!
