Pocket Square?

Got a question for you all... what is this in the picture on the pocket?

This doesn't seem like the so called "pocket square" because it seems so hard, and uniformed... whereas the TYPICAL online stores that sell pocket squares are as follows:

What's the difference between them both and when do you usually each?
Also, where can I find the first one in the picture? I can hardly find any places that sell it, but lots of places sell styles similar to the second picture.

thanks

haha pretty much, but these days people just go for the look and most often they are just cards with the cloth material on top.

Any decent men's clothing store will carry pocket squares. The Bay should have a decent selection and I am certain that they go on sale often. You can look online on how to fold them differently.

thats a pocket square for sure..and yea you could prob buy them from moores, the bay, or any place that sells a lot of suits.

also, pocket squares are not handkerchiefs (looks vs actual use)

i recall that picture is from gq, and i also remember they suggested this site before, and i had it in my bookmarks for awhile and almost forgot about it (they have pocket squares):

i'm all about pocket squares.
I found a few good ones at daiso one time. Haven't had much luck there afterwards but worth checking if you're there.
The ones i got there for $2 were nicer than the $15 that they sell at mall stores such as moores which are mostly just solid colours.
If you travel to asia/ europe def go pick them up there as they are dirt cheap and the quality/ design are much better
