I can appreciate good drama and story as much as the next guy, but my real complaint all-in-all is that I want

Fuck this 11 month wait for S:2 man.

P.S.
To those still craving for zombie action in a TV series, check out "Dead Set". I'm sure most of you know about that already but if not, download that shit on ---> TPB . You will NOT be disappointed.

Season one could've been compressed to 3 episodes...MAX.

The story was almost as dragged out as a dragon ball episode on ytv.

Season 1 sucked because they're trying to build up the characters so the viewers can relate to them. The problem with that is the fact that I barely know or care about any of them.

I'm starting to get annoyed with Rick (especially the part where they apparently jogged all the way back to camp in tact when they needed the van to get into the city)

Shane is annoying as hell (stupid dumb emo that can't keep his pants on)

Asian kid is just used as some pawn to run around the city

Crossbow guy is your typical redneck

Overall season 1- 6.5/10
The first two episodes were promising, and it slowly began to dawn on me that they were gonna drag things as far as possible. I'm also starting to think Rick was miscast, the guy struggles to hide his accent.

I think so too. However, I'll reserve judgment for season 2.

One of the themes of The Walking Dead is... (spoilers about Rick ahead...spoilers that you really shouldn't read unless you've read the comic to issue 79 OR don't give a shit about spoilers)

Spoiler!

comic and show are quite different i dont think you'll be spoiling anything if you read the comic (unless next season tries to pull a 180 and follow the comic exactly)

URL is rather self explanitory. Very cool reveal of the CG effects which, apart from the exploding building, are damn near seamless. To be honest, I thought the legless zombie was animatronic! I remember thinking to myself "Wow, I didn't think anyone did animatronics anymore..."
